Websites Used Throughout Researching and Planning the Marketing Campaign for 'Equinox'

I used many websites and online resources whilst researching and planning the marketing campaign for 'Equinox'.

The following sites were the most useful:

This website helped me with understanding the order of credits and appropriate fonts for titles for folk horror films.

This website was one of the ones I used to help me find a variety of potential fonts for my titles, including those that would be suitable for my genre/film.

Font Meme was another font website I used, which broke fonts down into movie genres.

Linotype was the last font website I used, however, I did not find anything extremely useful from this website, as many of the movies it referenced were older, classic films, rather than more modern movies from the genre.

YouTube was used to get the trailers and TV spots which I analysed. I embedded them onto Blogger. I also uploaded my trailers onto YouTube.

I used Soundcloud to upload my music and sound effects.

IMDB was very useful for finding information about directors, genres and actors.

IMP Awards is a film poster site with a variety of high quality posters for each of the films that they have (which are most of the films ever created). I often used IMP Awards when putting posters on my Blogger posts that were related to the films I was analysing. I used the site a great deal for my A2 Film Marketing Project, to help me understand the conventions found in posters, and to create my own poster.

Twitter was used to help me research different social media pages, in order to potentially create an authentic Twitter page for my film.

Instagram (just like Twitter) contributed to my social media research.

Facebook was also used to help and inform me of what contributes to an authentic looking film social media page.
