In order to give my film an extra layer of authenticity I have decided that every member of the crew should be a creative who has worked on films from the folk horror or horror genre. Looking at title cards that appear in trailers for existing films from my chosen genre, but also at billing blocks in posters, gave me an indication of which crew members I should include and the order their title cards should appear within the trailers and the order they should appear on the poster billing block.
Director - Osgood Perkins
Perkins has worked mostly within the horror genre as a director, directing 'The Monkey' and Longlegs'.
Producer - Brian Campbell
Campbell has produced a number of horror films (some from the folk horror sub-genre) including 'The Witch', 'Dracula 2001' and 'Torment'.
Executive Producer - Xavier Marchand
Marchand has produced many franchise horror films including 'Sinister 2', 'Insidious: Chapter 3' and 'Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death', alongside the folk horror film 'The Ritual'.
Music Supervisor - Thom Yorke
Thom Yorke, of Radiohead fame, composed the music for the horror film remake 'Suspiria'.
Cinematographer/Director of Photography - Pawel Porgorzelski
Porgorzelski has been the cinematographer on a number of horror/folk horror films, including two with director Ari Aster - 'Midsommar' and 'Hereditary'.
Editor - Louise Ford
Ford has worked as the editor on many films from the horror genre including 'Nosferatu', 'The Witch' and 'Don't Breathe'
Production Designer - Trevor Johnson
Johnson was the production designer on Osgood Perkins' 'Longlegs'.
Scriptwriter - Zach Cregger
Cregger has written a number of horror screenplays including 'Barbarian' and the upcoming 'Resident Evil' and 'Weapons'.
Here are my title cards featuring the crew (and cast) which will appear towards the end of my trailers, and also an early initial version of my poster billing, which I have created on Photoshop using the SteelTongs font. I have also created title cards I may use featuring the name of the film's director.
