Comparing Theatrical Trailers - Introduction

At this stage I am most interested in creating a theatrical trailer and a TV spot for my film as part of its marketing campaign (though this may change as I complete more research for the project), so I am going to scrutinise those types of trailers in a bit more detail.

I am going to be comparing the theatrical trailers for both 'Mickey 17' and 'Wicked', films which belong to two completely different genres. I want to see if they share similar conventions despite belonging to different genres as a result of both being theatrical trailers. The purpose is to analyse the similarities of these trailers to better understand the consistent conventions of theatrical trailers in order to replicate this format realistically for my marketing campaign.
