Analysing Film Posters - 'The Black Sea'

The fourth film poster I am going to analyse is for the comedy/drama 'The Black Sea' directed by Crystal Moselle and Derrick B. Harden.

The poster contains the following conventions:

• title of film - largest copy on the poster 
• names of directors
• billing block 
• reviews and star ratings that indicate genre  
• reference to awards and nominations 
• production company logos
• dominant central image
