Analysing Horror Film Trailers - A Re-Think

I am not entirely happy with the way I have approached the analysis of the horror film trailers, as I feel that I was still focusing a little too much on the broad, general conventions of trailers rather than the specific details of genre. 

I have decided to look at three more horror trailers and to focus more clearly on the ways genre influences things like the use of film language - cinematography (including lighting), mise-en-scene, editing and sound, but also how certain character types, themes and issues are related to the chosen genre. 

The film trailers I am going to look at are for the following films: 

'Hereditary'

'Talk To Me'

'Longlegs'
